Transfer of Ownership

This Page gives detailed Instructions of the Transfer of Ownership of shares and water rights.

To transfer:

  • $50.00 transfer fee if new shareholder to company, $20.00 if they are an existing shareholder to company.
  • Seller must be paid in full on all assessments and service work.
  • We need the original certificate signed over to new owner(s) by certificateCertificate signing over example holder(s) or notarized affidavit for original certificate signed over to new owner(s) by certificate holder(s). Fiduciaries must provide copy of documentation describing those individuals with a right to sign the shares over. If Certificate is lost you can print a Lost Certificate & Transfer document from our website, www.beavershinglecreek.com/downloads if needed, it must be notarized. If only transferring part of the shares then we need amounts being transferred and returned to original shareholder + their new certificate fee of $20.00.
  • If a Water Right (example 35-9999, a32323), is being transferred, it will need to be transferred or in progress of transfer to new owner, either by assignment form or water/quit claim deed.   • Company needs from new owner(s):
    • Name(s) of new shareholder(s) as they wish the certificate to read. Can be LLC, trust, etc., if so we need documentation specifying who has right to sign for company.
    • Mailing address.
    • Phone number.
    • Email.
    • Transfer fee

Note: If you are selling a property with a well and water right.  No transfer of shares will take place until water right is also being transferred to new owner via The Utah Division of Water Right .
